Rachel Feldman is a director and screenwriter with credits in film and television, movie and series.  This season, she directed multiple episodes of “Blue Bloods,” “Criminal Minds,” “The Rookie,” and the pilot & first season of “The Baxters” for MGM.

Feldman is in late development to direct LILLY,  a feature film based on the remarkable life of Fair Pay icon Lilly Ledbetter. This beloved project is the nexus of her professional, personal and political passions.

Feldman has written and directed several feature films including LOVE NOTES, SMOTHERED, SHE’S NO ANGEL, and WITCHCRAFT III and has sold features and pilots to eOne, Freeform, and Lifetime Television. Her pilot KINKS won the 2020 ScreenCraft Best Pilot Launch, the WGA Drama Queens Best Pilot Competition, and was selected for the MIPCannes In Development Initiative.

A long time activist for gender parity in Hollywood, Feldman is former chair of the DGA Women’s Steering Committee. She can be seen in the Geena Davis produced documentary, “This Changes Everything,” Amy Adrion’s “Half The Sky,” and Bloomberg Television’s “Celluloid Ceilings."

Feldman was a professional child actor, then worked up film production ranks as a storyboard artist on studio films. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College then earned an MFA from NYU Grad Film & TV, where her graduate thesis film went on to win over 25 national and international best short awards. She's repped at Verve.

I don’t think directing is an easy road for anyone. It’s not for the faint of heart regardless of gender, but it is still so much harder for women. We do not have an equal playing field, and until we do, we have to keep pushing the door open. The time for talk is over, the time for change is now.
